From the consultation process right through to clean-up, we were impressed with their professionalism, honesty and attention to detail. Sammy is an excellent communicator; he really listened to what we wanted, had thoughtful advice and suggestions for us to consider, and was always just a phone call or text away. They were always on time and did a great job controlling the mess and cleaning up each day. Their workmanship is truly what impressed us the most: the tile work is outstanding, and I’m in love with our custom cabinets! I would highly recommend The Peraltas, and we look forward to working with them again on our next project

  Where do we begin? Honestly! Jim and his entire crew are more than a contractor(s). They team has become friends indeed. Jim is a consummate professional who’s work ethic is more than extraordinary! Jim has no tolerance for mediocre performance or cutting corners. He’s insightful and does not miss a beat. He checks the work of his crewman and women. His crew members have immense respect for him. Jim provides constructive feedback in a positive manner. He comes up with ideas on a whim due to his extensive knowledge and experience. He also, shares his expertise with his crew to make sure that they are learning and producing quality work. Jim is a solution finder and a natural born leader. He is fair with his cost estimates. He knows how to correct poor workmanship to make it code compliant. He’s impeccable with his word! An Extremely personable man who, once again . He’s now a trusted friend. Projects consist of the rehabilitation of two different stair cases. Replacement and removal of a master bedroom door. Fine work!! Replacement of a fasciae board near roof. Replacement of two fences. Built a lovely dog house. Built a play pen for dogs. Refers out for others tasks, ex. garage door opener, hvac, plumbers, pest control, honest and knowledgeable electricians, to blacksmiths. Jim knows… I am going to have his crew remodel my outside fire place area! I’m very excited! If you are fortunate, you’ll likely hear him sing when he comes to inspect and brainstorm ideas.They’re a rare find. Gems! Thanks over and over x’s infinity

  We have used contract help on many different projects over the twenty years we have owned our home, and our most recent experience with Carnival Custom Painting has to rank near, if not at, the top of the best of our experiences. We would hire them again without hesitation and would recommend them to those looking for a high quality professional painting company. Our project entailed repainting most of the interior of our home (~3500+ sq ft home). From our initial engagement with Chris (sales manager) to the experienced and professional interactions with Juan (project manager) and his team of wonderful painters, Carnival Custom Painting exceeded our expectations on almost every level. Their work was top notch. Their pricing was fair (we received several bids prior to selecting Carnival -theirs not the lowest while not excessive as others). We made several changes during the project and Juan was patient and professional at all times, working with us to give us the results we were looking for in our entire home (interior) repaint project. The team was on time every day and left things tidy and livable throughout the two week project - not an easy task as we made the decision to not seek temporary shelter and were essentially deconstructing the inside of our home for the entire painting process. There was never any up-sell pressure, and if we found an area we wanted added or removed from the project, the changes were handled fairly and without push-back. Wonderful to work with. High quality workmanship. Fair and consistent pricing. Five stars

  H-Towne & Around is great to work with, and went above and beyond in our last project. We have used them previously on two other projects that we were very pleased with, so when our home was damaged during the 2021 freeze, we automatically called them for help. Danny invested many hours working with our insurance adjuster to be sure all the damage was addressed. JR is always prompt in responding to questions and/or issues, and the people who work for him are just the best. Knowing that we were living in the house with 2/3rds of it having open ceilings, JR got a crew out to put up the sheetrock and close the ceilings before we had made several important decisions, like picking kitchen cabinets, which was likely to mess up schedules. We were very grateful to have those ceilings closed up early in the process. Later, when faced with a 15 week wait on semi-custom cabinets, JR got us in touch with a custom cabinet maker that did the job in 2 weeks at an affordable price, plus we got custom cabinets! JR knows how to make things happen. An extra project not related to the damage, that Htowne did during the restore, was to move a window in our breakfast area over a few feet, and rebuild it as a cantilevered window seat. It is awesome, makes the kitchen feel bigger, and from the outside looks like it has always been there as the brick that was removed was reworked to cover the hole left on the other side. It takes a lot of folks & coordination to put a house back together after extensive water damage, and do a few extra projects that the owner dreamed up as well, but we are so happy with the results. I highly recommend H-towne & Around for any remodeling/restoration job

  Seek Design & Renovation remodeled my master bathroom beyond my expectations. 1. The existing shower was moved to where the tub was giving more shower place. A bench was built, and 2 medium and 2 small niches were added (love the new shower). Where the existing shower was, Seek Design & Renovation built a custom inset with four shelves and three deep drawers. 2. The floor tile, again another awesome job. 3. For vanity area, custom cabinets were built on site. This could have been an issue as the area is a short "L" shape. With Seek Design & Renovation team’s expertise / experience with cabinetry I got what I wanted: 1) taller cabinets; 2) add large drawer to the wasted space; 3) all drawers are softly shut style; 4) a tower was built with four adjustable shelves. I have more storage than I imagined!!!!!!!! Note the cabinets were built on site. 4. Now for the paint – the existing walls had been painted a very dark color – with the assistance of Seek Design & Renovation I selected a lighter color (love it). 5. Seek Design & Renovation kept me updated daily as to the progress. When I had questions, they answered to my satisfaction. This was my first home remodeling and with the professionalism I received, I will use Seek Design & Renovation for future updates to my home...
